West Ham United could soon be boosted by the return of midfielder Jack Collison.

The 24-year old Welsh midfielder has not appeared for the Hammers this season because of an ongoing knee problem but made big steps towards a comeback by getting through part of a U21 match on Monday.

Collison played 45 minutes as the Hammers lost 3-1 to Norwich City and almost had a hand in two possible West Ham goals prior to departing at the break.
