Joe Cole hopes to be back for Aston Villa ahead of their clash with Manchester United.

The 33-year-old former England midfielder says Aston Villa's relegation worries should not make them scared of going to Old Trafford.

"We have some big games coming up and they are matches the lads must relish. There's nothing to be scared of.

"We shouldn't be fearful of going to United or of playing at home in a big game. We should look forward to the challenge.

"I always say to the boys just go and play, try your best and that's all we can do."
