Club Brugge in fresh Pellistri talks with Man Utd

Club Brugge want to revive plans to sign Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri.

Belgians Club Brugge moved for Pellistri in January after the Uruguayan was made available for loan, but he ultimately chose to join Alaves to the end of the season. Voetbal24 says Club Brugge remain keen on the midfielder and hope to take him on-loan next season.

Pellistri joined United last summer from Penarol, but failed to find a way into manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first team plans, instead being restricted to appearances with the U23s and in the EFL TRophy.

However, with his move to Alaves, Pellistri has managed to get some regular football under his belt. The midfielder has managed six appearances so far in the LaLiga.

And his form has led Club Brugge to reviving their interest for next season.

The Belgians and United are now in talks, though nothing is yet agreed.

Club Brugge will seek a loan arrangement for Pellistri, who has a contract to 2025 with United.
