Club Brugge defender Stefano Denswil has explained turning down Chelsea as a teen.
Denswil, 25, was in talks to leave Ajax at 15 for the London giants.
He told HLN: "I was fifteen years old and decided to listen together with my parents and then business manager. Chelsea was and still is my thing. The contracts were ready and everything was arranged fantastically. We were given an extensive tour and a house in the Didier Drogba district.
"I could earn a hundred times more as with Ajax. It was a contract I could never refuse, the good life . All I had to do was sign but I wanted to succeed at Ajax.
"A nice home with my family near me."
