Real Betis are wrapping up the signing of Club America midfielder Guido Rodríguez.

The Argentina international was flying from Mexico to Spain this morning to complete the move after the two clubs had struck terms.

Rodriguez declared: "I am happy to be able to fulfill a dream, to fulfill a goal that I had set and that every player likes. I am very happy about that.

"These are things that are happening in a player's career, when those things happen it is because things are being done well, so I am happy about that, how my passage was here in America. I am very happy to have done things well in one of the big clubs in the world, the biggest in Mexico, so I'm very happy.

"And now there is another challenge ahead."
