Liverpool and Bayern Munich have struck terms over a fee for Thiago Alcantara.
Thiago has one year left on his contract with the Bundesliga giants, but Liverpool are keen to secure the player's signing before he becomes a free-agent.
And now it appears they are close to completing the deal with both the player and Bayern, with The Athletic reporting that terms have been agreed between the clubs.
A fee of €30m has been struck, with Bayern encouraging Liverpool to agree personal terms with Thiago in the next 48 hours.
Bayern have told Liverpool they want Thiago sold and away from the club by the time the new Bundesliga season kicks off.
