Clive Allen is set to return to QPR.

The Daily Star says QPR will continue their backroom staff shake-up - opening the door for Les Ferdinand and Allen to return to Loftus Road.

Harry Redknapp is plotting a reunion with Ferdinand and Allen - after Mike Rigg left his role as Rangers technical director.

His exit, less than eight months after his appointment, is set to be confirmed later this week.

New QPR boss Redknapp wants full control and aims to put his own stamp on the struggling west Londoners by hiring ex-Hoops heroes Ferdinand and Allen.

Redknapp has already added old pals Kevin Bond and Joe Jordan to his coaching team to aid QPR's survival bid.
