Clement adamant he's the right man to lead Swansea

Swansea City manager Paul Clement has insisted that he is the right man to lead the Swans.

Following a terrible start to the season, Swansea City have dropped down to bottom place in the Premier League table but despite the struggles, under pressure manager Paul Clement has insisted that he is the right man to lead the Welsh side.

Clement said: "I was disappointed and that is why I looked frustrated. I am not at end of my tether, we can get out of situation we are in. We need to be focused and turn preparation into performance.

"I have no doubt I am the man to turn it around and the players are behind me. I know when a dressing room grows apart from the manager. I do not have that feeling. We just need that agreement.

"Everyone is working in the same direction, any talk of me not being here is from external circumstances. I spoke to Steve Kaplan last night, talking about the games and the window. We are working together to try and make it work.

"I have shown I can do it, there is no reason why I cannot do it again. We have got six games to go through December to get some valuable points on the board. Once we have done that we can look at what we need to do in January. I hope and believe I will be the man to do that."
