Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas hailed Cristiano Ronaldo for handing Karim Benzema a goal in their win over Alaves.
Ronaldo was on for a hat-trick when Los Blancos were awarded a late penalty and it would have been his 50th triple since joining the club in 2009, yet he allowed the French forward to take the spot kick in order to end his goal drought.
"We aren't surprised by his gesture," the goalkeeper explained in his post-match interview.
"We all know the kind of person he is.
"It's in these moments where you need the love of the team and Ronaldo has shown he cares about the group."
