Claims Chelsea midfielder Mount apologised to Lampard after Rice kickabout

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has apologised to manager Frank Lampard after being spotted playing football in public while he was supposed to be in self-isolation due to the Coronavirus outbreak, it has been claimed.

A Daily Mail report states Mount was seen enjoying a kick-about with West Ham star and his best mate Declan Rice at Trent Park Football centre, near Barnet on Sunday.

As a result manager and player spoke over the phone and Mount said sorry having been reminded of his responsibilities by the club. That warning was also extended to all of Chelsea's players.

Mount does not have Coronavirus nor has he displayed any symptoms of the virus though he held up his hands having ventured out after being told by the club to stay at home.
