City Football Group remain in talks for Palermo.

Manchester City's umbrella company are continuing negotiations with the Rosanero, reports Gianluca di Marzio.

CFG representatives were at the Stadio Renzo Barbera last night to watch Palermo take on Triestina in their Serie C play-off match.

CFG owns a number of football clubs around the world including Manchester City, Melbourne City, Montevideo City Torque, and Troyes.

Palermo fans have welcomed the prospect of joining CFG's stable as they seek to rebuild from the days of Maurizio Zamparini.
