QPR striker Djibril Cisse has welcomed the arrival of former Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar.
Cisse himself is aware he faces increased competition for a starting role up front following the arrivals of Andy Johnson and Junior Hoilett in the close season.
When asked if the signing of Cesar has left the players feeling none of their places in the team are safe, he said: "Yes, but that's football. Every day you have to show that you deserve to play and you're the best at what you do, but it's not that easy. Sometimes other players play in your position and you have to accept it and keep fighting the next day. That is what makes a good squad - to have a good bench as well."
