Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse is determined to fire his club away from the dropzone.

Cisse is determined to finally start producing the goods and give boss Alan Pardew some breathing space.

He said: "Maybe there have not been as many opportunities for me.

"But what's important now is we work hard to improve as a team to rediscover the form we showed last season.

"I hope I can continue to score. It doesn't matter who scores, we must win the match. We all need to contribute now."
