Christian Kouame hopes to see action for Fiorentina when the season resumes.

The Ivorian has been out injured since he moved to Florence in January from Genoa.

“I still remember the call from Commisso when the transfer was complete," he told the Corriere dello Sport.

“He said he had been impressed by me since the second game of the season, when we beat Viola.

“Now, I just want to repay his trust on the pitch, scoring my first goal, maybe at the Franchi."
