Former Manchester United midfielder Chris Eagles hopes to win a new deal with Blackpool.

Eagles joined the Championship outfit on a short-term contract earlier this season.

"I want to stay until the end of the season, everyone knows that.

"I'm in talks with the club at the moment. I'd like to seal the deal now.

"I'll hopefully be having a chat about extending it this week.

"I'm loving it here. I get on with all the lads and the gaffer, and the fans have taken to me too. It's brilliant."
