Liverpool youngster Pedro Chirivella could be on his way back to the club.

The midfielder is at Extremadura in the Spanish Segunda, but there is an issue with his registration with the club.

Per the Evening Standard, the RFEF in Spain are not giving the 21-year-old clearance to play, which may lead to a termination of the loan.

Liverpool hope the matter will be resolved positively, with Chirivella able to play.

But he may have to come back to the club for the rest of the season if no amicable resolution is found.
