China-bound Ramires proud to have been a part of Chelsea history

Ramires sent a message of thanks to the Chelsea Football Club following his departure from the club.

The 28-year-old Brazilian midfielder has left Stamford Bridge to join Chinese Super League club Jiangu Suning on a record £25million deal.

Ramires joined Chelsea from Benfica in 2010 and helped the West London club win the 2015 Premier League title, 2012 Champions League, the Europa League in 2013, the FA Cup and the League Cup and upon his exit, was quick to show his appreciation to the club and it's supporters for making his stay so successful.

“I would like say thanks to Chelsea and their fans for all good moments that I have lived here," he wrote on his Instagram page.

"I'm proud to have written my name in the club's history with titles, especially the Champions League.

"I need to say a special thanks also to all people who have supported me daily, staff, management and team partners. You'll always have my admiration.

"Thank you,@chelseafc."
