Chievo Verona veteran Sergio Pellissier has paid tribute to Gonzalo Higuain.

Pellissier struck on Sunday, but it wasn't enough as Higuain hit a brace in AC Milan's 3-1 win.

"Surely he is a great striker, in five years in Italy he has overtaken me in goals," said the 39 year-old.

"He's a great striker, but we knew it first, it just took one opportunity to hurt us, and today he punished us twice."

Victory moved Milan up to tenth on the Serie A table.
