Chievo Verona striker Roberto Inglese ready to return to Napoli

Chievo Verona striker Roberto Inglese expects to sign for parent club Napoli.

The forward was bought by the Partenopei in the summer, but they loaned him back to the Flying Donkeys for the rest of the season.

“I'm owned by Napoli, so sooner or later I'll go," Inglese said in an interview with La Repubblica.

“I don't know if it'll happen in June or now though. When I faced the Azzurri in the league it didn't have any particular effect on me.

“I haven't breathed the air of Naples, I haven't been in the dressing room and I only know [Lorenzo] Insigne from the national team.

“I don't know if I'll be up to it at Napoli, I'm not ashamed to say it. I try to take it step-by-step to see where my limits are."
