Chievo Verona boss Eugenio Corini is backing his defender Marco Andreolli for a successful return to Inter Milan.

Andreolli is expected to sign for Inter in the summer on a Bosman.

"He has an excellent physical structure," Corini told Sport Italia. "He's also very good in starting play from the back.

"He deserves the opportunity to play for a big club like Inter and, in my opinion, I think he is ready to do so."
