Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez is in London to finalise a move to West Ham.
The London Evening Standard says the 29-year-old striker is set to complete his move from Bayer Leverkusen in a deal worth £16million.
West Ham and Leverkusen announced on Thursday they had come to an agreement over a fee.
With Mexico international Hernandez having ended his holiday following the Confederations Cup and agreed personal terms in principle, he is now close to being announced as a Hammers player.
The former Manchester United goalscorer will become West Ham's highest-paid player on around £140,000 a week once he completes the formalities of his switch and passes his medical.
West Ham are not expected to confirm the signing until Tuesday, but Hernandez is in London.
