Chicago Fire striker David Accam says he should be a Stoke City player.
The Ghanaian saw a move scuppered due to UK work permit laws.
"There was a lot on the cards at Stoke but there was a big issue with the work permit – I'm not qualified to get a work permit," he told Joy News.
"But aside from the work permit it shows I am good enough to play in the Premier League. Stoke saw a lot of stuff in me, that's why they invited me to come and train with them and see what happened.
"I think the work permit is the only reason I'm not playing in the Premier League now."
