Chicago Fire have sold Designated Player Juan Luis Anangono to Liga MX club Universidad de Guadalajara.
The 25-year old striker has departed the Fire after joining the MLS side in July 2013 from Argentinos Juniors and following a loan with LDU Quito in the second part of this year.
Two-time Ecuador international Anangono made 29 appearances for the Fire, scoring just four goals, but had a much more productive stint in his homeland by scoring 11 goals in 25 outings for Quito.
