Mike Magee has been named the MLS Player of the Month for June.
The 28-year old forward, who joined Chicago Fire from LA Galaxy at the end of May, produced a stellar month of performances for his new club.
Magee scored four goals in his first four appearances for the Fire as they recorded three wins and a draw to improve their standing to 16th overall in MLS.
The former Galaxy star, who netted six goals in 10 appearances this season before his move to Chicago, tallied in the 2-0 win over DC United, the 2-2 draw with Portland Timbers, the 2-1 victory over Colorado Rapids and last weekend's 2-1 triumph at Columbus Crew.
He adds the June award to the Player of the Month prize he landed with the Galaxy in March.
