Chicago Fire technical director Frank Klopas has expressed interest in Fulham striker Brian McBride.

McBride is returning to the USA and while Toronto FC have first refusal, Klopas says: "We're definitely interested.

"We would be crazy not to be interested in him. But Toronto has his rights. We still have to deal with them.

"It's not like we can say [to McBride], 'Come over and let's get this done.' It will depend on what Toronto wants in return."
