League Two champions Chesterfield have secured John Sheridan to a new long-term contract with the club. Boss Sheridan, along with assistant Tommy Wright and first-team coach Mark Crossley have all agreed four-year deals.
Speaking to Spireites Player, Sheridan said: "The most important thing about a team is trust, and that's what myself, Tommy and Mark all have for each other."
Sheridan said he wanted to carry the team's success on next year.
"It's no good thinking your going to finish halfway or in a relegation fight, you've got to say you are going to get out of the division," he added.
"That's what we are going to try to do in the next division, try to get out of it as soon as possible."
