Bolton Wanderers are set to change owners in the coming days.
Cheshire businessman Parminder Basran hopes to be in charge of Bolton Wanderers by the end of the week after agreeing a £27million deal.
Wilmslow-raised Basran made his money through investment deals with strong links to football through sponsorship work.
Basran's family also made fortunes in the catering industry and his team hope to bring expertise in all fields, with former Rangers and Nottingham Forest boss Mark Warburton on the football side, says The Sun.
The deal to buy out owner Ken Anderson has been agreed at around £27m and the club's debts will be paid off out of that.
