Dan Gosling says he has felt "hard done" at Bournemouth but insists he will fight for a more significant role next season.
The Cherries midfielder featured sparingly for Eddie Howe's side this season, making 13 league starts, and he believes that the work he put in didn't convert to time on the pitch.
Speaking to the Daily Echo, the 27-year old said: : "It took a while for me to get in the side. I thought I was training well and doing well every time I was coming on.
"I felt unlucky and hard done by at certain times during the season. I did speak with the manager about it a few times – his door is always open for a chat.
"It would be great if I could extend my stay here. I have really enjoyed it so far, I am settled, I like living here and the club is going from strength to strength.
