Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko played a full 90 minutes in Ukraine's 1-1 B draw in Georgia last night.
Chelsea claim the striker they bought from Milan for £30m is still recovering from a hernia operation, but Shevchenko, who also played in a midweek charity match in the Ukraine, questions his omission from Jose Mourinho's teams.
"I don't know why Mourinho isn't playing me. I don't understand it," Shevchenko said in midweek, and his contribution yesterday may have added to any simmering bitterness between Mourinho and Chelsea's owner, Roman Abramovich.
