"I have mellowed a lot about that sort of thing. When I was younger I would have started shooting from the halfway line but nowadays I stay calmer and wait for it to come," said Lamps.
"I try to score regularly and look at my figures later in the season to see where I am at. I don't like setting targets early on because if you don't reach them you feel you haven't contributed.
"As a midfielder it shouldn't be about how many goals you have scored. It should be about your all-round contribution, work-rate and passing."
