Chelsea midfielder Liam Bridcutt is delighted with his loan move to Brendan Rodgers' Watford.
The 19 year-old made his debut in Watford's 1-1 draw with Doncaster and said: "I need the experience of playing first team football and I couldn't have come to a better club, especially with Brendan here.
"At Chelsea you are always coming up against good players, they have some of the best in the world.
"We mix with them every day. It's a good experience to be around them and it has shown today that it has done me a lot of good."
He insisted: "I knew Brendan wasn't going to be at Chelsea for long - I knew a club would snap him up.
"Brendan gets the respect of players, it's the vibe around him. He has a brilliant knowledge of the game and will do the same for Watford as he did for Chelsea.
"I have no doubt he will get to the top as a manager."
