Chelsea youngster Guehi: Christensen, Azpilicueta always helping

Chelsea youngster Marc Guehi admits that he is learning a lot with his club side.

The 19-year-old has gotten his first taste of the Blues first team, along with an England under-21 opportunity.

While he spoke about a range of issues, Guehi highlighted the way senior players such as Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta are helping him settle with the first team during training.

"I learned so much today in the Under-21s," Guehi told Goal.

"All experience is good experience, especially games for your country. I'll take it back to spur me on to push into the first-team. Hopefully I'll get a few more first-team games at Chelsea and carry on pushing. I want to improve as a player.

"If the manager (Frank Lampard) gives me the chance then I'll be grateful but if he doesn't I'll have to keep my head down and keep working hard. I'm learning from some great players - and the manager - at Chelsea, so everything is going really well.

"All the players have been helping me, especially the defenders. Even someone like Fikayo Tomori who's a young lad coming through, but we have seen how well he is doing. [It's the same with] players like Andreas Christensen.

"We have leaders like Cesar Azpilicueta as well, who have been there for a long time, so you can learn off players like that. It's been a good start but I hope to achieve more. Let's see what the future holds."
