Chelsea worried as Real Madrid refocus on Courtois deal

Chelsea management are again concerned over new contract talks with Thibaut Courtois.

The London Evening Standard says hopes of concluding contract talks with Courtois have come under threat from Real Madrid once again.

Real Madrid have seen a bid to buy Athletic Bilbao goalie Kepa Arrizabalaga for £17.7million collapse.

An agreement was in place for Kepa to join before the end of the current transfer window, but now the La Liga giants are on the hunt for a new keeper to arrive this summer instead.

The Blues have offered around £200,000-a-week, but he has been on Real Madrid's wish-list for several years and they are likely to renew their interest.
