Chelsea winger Pulisic credits empty stadiums for growth this season

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic believes the absence of fans has helped him settle into English football.

Stadiums have largely stayed empty this season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Pulisic moved to Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in January last year, and he says the lack of attention from supporters has helped his progress at the club.

He told GQ Magazine: "It's obviously changed a lot of things.

"It's not as enjoyable to play with no fans. But in a way, I like it, because I don't really like attention and all that stuff.

"And that's also when I probably have grown the most as a player."
