West Ham United winger Victor Moses was delighted with his Hammers debut in the 2-0 win against Newcastle United on Monday night.
The 24-year-old Nigeria international, on a season-long loan from Chelsea, played an important part in the second goal for the Hammers as it was his rebounded shot off the bar that was fired home by Dimitri Payet.
After the win, Moses spoke of his contentment at contributing so early in his West Ham stay.
Moses said on West Ham TV: "I thought all the lads did really well out there. We knew what to expect, the manager said 'Go out and express yourself, make sure you enjoy the game'.
"I thought we worked hard together as a team, we deserved the game and we dominated really. We created a lot of chances really.
"I think I've settled in quickly. I just wanted to go out there and enjoy it. Everything fell into place and it felt good out there.
"You can see that we've got a lot of quality. Going forward we were all enjoying ourselves. Payet and (Diafra) Sakho were excellent and (Manuel) Lanzini as well. Our full-backs pushed on well which also helped, we just enjoyed ourselves really."
