Chelsea are still in the race to sign Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.

The German striker wants a move this summer and Liverpool is his first choice.

Chelsea are hot in pursuit of Moussa Dembele from Lyon.

ButESPN reports that if Dembele does not leave the French club, Chelsea could go for Werner instead.

Lyon want £80 million for Dembele, which the Blues find very high for a player of that ability.

Werner has a £49m release clause, but he prefers a move to Jurgen Klopp's Reds.

And Manchester United are also sniffing around for the German as they look to bolster their own attacking options.
