Chelsea whizkid Hudson-Odoi admits feeling scared after injury

Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi admits that he was scared after his achilles tendon injury last season.

The winger had a lengthy lay off around the same time he was linked with a move to Bayern Munich.

Hudson-Odoi ended up staying with the Blues and making a full recovery. But he recalls some scary moments when he returned from injury.

He said in an Instagram interview with comedian Michael Dapaah: "It's been hard for me, it was the first proper injury I've had so it was hard for me to deal with it at the time.

"When I first came back on the pitch I was scared because of everything that had happened and I thought, "How am I gonna run again and how is it gonna be?". So for me it was a bit scary.

"As time went on I was feeling more and more confident on the ball and getting back into my rhythm. It plays on my mind sometimes even now, if I get kicked on it [the achilles] or if something happens to it."
