Chelsea whiz Mason Mount admits the presence of Jody Morris convinced him to join Derby County.
Mount is on-loan at Derby this season, having worked with assistant manager Morris with the Chelsea U23s.
He told The Sun: “There were a lot of clubs coming in for me, from the Championship and abroad as well, but I think for me, how big the club is, obviously with the gaffer (Frank Lampard) and Jody Morris here as well it was a decision I felt was quite hard to say no to.
“We speak about each game, how a couple of things happened which I could have done differently.
“I speak with the gaffer about how I need to make the box and where my runs should be going to get on the end of a cross, just being in the right place at the right time.
“He and Jody have different opinions and views on the game, and that's great for me as well.
“The club is huge, I wanted to stay in England and prove myself in England.
“That was a question mark on me, can I handle the physical side of it? How am I going to cope with it?
“In Holland, that physical side is there, but not as much as in England, it's nowhere near.
“For me coming here and learning that physical side of the game, and having to deal with that, is great experience for me moving forward."
