Chelsea whiz Hudson-Odoi proud of landmark FA Cup performance

Chelsea whiz Callum Hudson-Odoi was proud of his role in their FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest.

The winger provided two superb crosses for Alvaro Morata to convert as Chelsea overcame the Championship side.

"I feel really proud to get an opportunity to play and just to help the team get the win we deserved," the 18-year-old told chelseafc.com.

"I think we played really well and our mentality was strong. Alvaro did really well getting his goals and we all worked hard as a team. We deserved the win."

In his first FA Cup start and first full 90 minutes in senior domestic football, Hudson-Odoi became the first teenager to provide two assists in a Chelsea match since Scott Sinclair 11 years ago.

"I'm delighted to hear that and hopefully today showed why we are doing well," he said.

"We are working very hard in training every day and I'm proud to make a little bit of history. But it's not just about myself, it's about the team – we all did well so it's congratulations to the team for the victory."
