Chelsea are watching Timo Werner's situation at RB Leipzig.
Werner has made it clear that he wants to leave the Bundesliga this summer as the RB Leipzig frontman ruled out a move to Bayern Munich.
The 24-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool in the past few months and is keen to work under compatriot Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
The Reds are thought to be considering his £52million release clause, which expires on June 15th.
Both Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in Werner, while Inter Milan and Juventus are also in the race.
Yet the Daily Mirror says Liverpool's stance on Werner has now changed.
The club have decided that they will not be pursuing the deal with the board expecting very little transfer activity in the wake of the coronavirus.
