Chelsea are watching Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The Mirror says the Serb who was sold by Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez in the summer for £22 million has rattled in the goals since arriving at Craven Cottage – and sent his value rocketing.
Initially signed on loan last January he struck 12 goals in 15 games helping Fulham gain promotion to the Premier League.
New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is uncertain about £60 million Alvaro Morata while Olivier Giroud turns 32 at the end of the month.
It's why Mitrovic has become a future option although his asking price will have soared in a short time and manager Slavisa Jokanovic will be anxious to hold onto him.
But it won't stop Chelsea continuing to monitor the 23-year-old who although a crowd favourite on Tyneside never won Benitez over.
