Chelsea management plan to make SIX summer signings, it has been revealed.

The London Evening Standard says Blues boss Antonio Conte wants half a dozen new players in the upcoming transfer window.

Chelsea have Southampton trio Virgil van Dijk, Cedric Soares and Ryan Bertrand to their wish list.

Conte also wants Monaco's Tiemoue Bakayoko to partner N'Golo Kante in midfield and a £40m deal is close.

Chelsea are eager to re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton but that transfer as a long way to go yet with the Toffees still demanding over £100m.

Conte is keeping tabs on a number of other attacking stars including Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez.
