Chelsea have confirmed the sale of Mario Pasalic to Atalanta.
The Croatian was on loan with the Italian club this season, and has impressed in Serie A.
The club wanted to sign him permanently and Chelsea have now concluded a deal.
He will sign when his loan officially expires for the €15million fee the clubs had agreed.
Pasalic was a Chelsea player for six years, but did not play a single first team appearance.
And the Evening Standard reports the money Chelsea raised from this sale, and others, will help them in pursuits of Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwell.
The Blues want the promising German attacking midfielder, while the Leicester left-back is another key target for manager Frank Lampard.
