Former Liverpool midfielder Don Hutchison feels Chelsea should move for Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico.

Hutchison rates the Argentine as a better option than Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell.

"Always Tagliafico, no doubt," Hutchison told ESPN.

"Just look at the transfer fees. Chilwell plays in England, so according to reports that will soon become an amount of eighty to ninety million euros. I think that is really an astronomical amount.

"Then look around Europe, there are plenty of left backs that really are as good if not better.

"I see, for example, Marvin Plattenhardt (Hertha BSC), I see Philipp Max (FC Augsburg). But also Tagliafico. He is the best at Ajax, I think he is really great. I don't think he is expensive either. The eighty million euros it will cost (for Chilwell), half that is what I imagine. I would choose the Argentinian."
