Chelsea are unhappy with the six-match ban meted out to Didier Drogba by UEFA yesterday.
The Blues striker was rapped for his abuse of referee Tom Henning Ovrebo following last month's Champions League semi-final KO by Barcelona at Stamford Bridge.
Even so, a Chelsea insider told The Sun: "The club accepts that Didier's actions were inappropriate but, given the circumstances, we feel that the punishment meted out was excessive."
The decision comes even though the final two games are suspended and the Ivory Coast star feared he might be kicked out of Euro action for a YEAR.
