Chelsea are not giving up on signing Wesley Fofana this summer.

The young centre-back is emerging as a prime target for the Stamford Bridge club.

According to talkSPORT, the Blues are determined to secure Fofana after rejections from Jules Kounde and Presnal Kimpembe.

Even Leicester City's £80 million asking price is not scaring them away from a deal.

Fofana is only 21, but has already shown the quality necessary to be a strong defender in the Premier League.

If the Blues do secure the French youngster, who is 6ft 3in, he would be one of the most expensive defenders ever.

His transfer fee may rival that of Harry Maguire, who went to Manchester United from Leicester.
