Chelsea turn to ex-Man City chief Glick to take charge of day-to-day running

Former Manchester City commercial chief Tom Glick is set to move to Chelsea.

After seeing chairman Bruce Buck, managing director Marina Granovskaia and technical adviser Petr Cech all pushed, Chelsea are set to bring in Glick to fill the void.

Glick is to take on a senior boardroom role at Stamford Bridge under American owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital, says the Daily Mail.

He will take leading position in the day to day running of the club.

Prior to joining City in 2012, Glick was chief executive of Derby County for a four year spell before leaving for the current Premier League champions.
