Chelsea have reportedly rejected a loan enquiry from Fulham regarding Mark Schwarzer.
Goal.com suggests that the Cottagers made an emergency loan approach for the 42-year old Australian but the Blues do not want to let him leave as Petr Cech gets set to depart in January.
Czech Republic international Cech has said he wants out at Stamford Bridge after being demoted to number two behind young gun Thibaut Courtois which means Jose Mourinho will need to keep veteran Schwarzer at the club.
The Socceroos games record holder joined Chelsea from Fulham in July 2013 after a five-year career at Craven Cottage where he made over 200 appearances.
Since making the short trip across southwest London, the former Middlesbrough gloveman has made 12 appearances in all competitions for the current Premier League leaders.
