Chelsea to offer Remy in bid to land Leicester star Vardy

Chelsea could offer the services of Loic Remy to Leicester City in the hope it will sweeten any potential deal for Jamie Vardy.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Blues are still showing significant interest in the Foxes ace but are worried the current Premier League leaders are not willing to sell.

In a bid to make their pursuit more attractive to Leicester, the reigning champions are prepared to offer French striker Remy who has already emerged on the radar of Claudio Ranieri's men.

It is believed the East Midlands outfit have made a £7.6million bid for Remy, who is wanted by a number of other clubs, as they look to continue their shock run towards an unlikely title.

However, Leicester have no intentions of offloading Vardy before Monday night's transfer closure indicating that Chelsea will have to wait until the summer if they want to lure the 16-goal striker to Stamford Bridge.
