Chelsea will meet Peterborough United in the third round of the FA Cup.

The Blues had been drawn against either the Posh or Notts County for the next phase of the famous cup competition and will now meet the former at home.

Grant McCann's side defeated Notts 2-0 at the ABAX Stadium to book their place against the Premier League leaders.

Goals from Gwion Edwards and Paul Taylor, and a penalty save from Spurs loanee Luke McGee, allowed the Posh to move through to the third round where they will meet seven-time winners Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, January 9.
